From Under a Dark Cloud
I look up to the sky and a dark cloud is rolling over me. I feel afraid. I feel scared. I feel alone. The rain starts falling and I begin to cry uncontrollably. I feel lost. Where am I? Is there anyone out there? It is so dark and empty. But hope comes… through a friend comes a distant prayer and the rain starts to dwindle. I'm not lonely anymore. I'm not afraid. I am calm. I have peace. I look up-the sky is clearing and the clouds are breaking. I see light.. God's light.. and I know everything will be all right. I am once again in His arms-safe and protected from the darkness.

"inspiring, a must read for anyone looking for hope!"
Kelly Schultz
"I admire Deb for sharing her story in From Under a Dark
Cloud. She has opened her heart to God and given him the darkness
that she's been carrying for so many years. What I found unique
and compelling about this book are the questions at the end of
each chapter. They bring you to think about your own life and
the choices that you make.²
